Landscape Architect

Job Overview:
- We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person to join our company as a Landscape Architect. The position is based in Male’, Maldives, with 1 vacancy available. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop landscape concepts responding to the Maldivian island environment.
- Collaborate with architects for seamless integration of landscape and architecture.
- Develop projects from concept to detailed design.
- Prepare and coordinate landscape plans and presentation packages.
- Develop comprehensive planting strategies.
- Source plants and materials considering local availability.
- Incorporate sustainability principles into landscape design.
- Design hardscape and softscape elements.
- Coordinate with other consultants on landscape design.
- Review drawings and technical submissions.
- Support project teams during procurement and implementation.
- Participate in site reviews and coordinate with contractors.
- Ensure design solutions are practical for island environments.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or related design discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in high-end hospitality and tropical landscape design.
- Strong knowledge of planting design and landscape materials.
- Experience in nursery and plant sourcing is an advantage.
- Experience in Maldives or similar tropical coastal contexts is desirable.
