Electrician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join the construction team at the Villa Eden Resort Development Project. The Electrician will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, wiring, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting works across the project site, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical installation and wiring works for resort villas, buildings, staff facilities, and other project infrastructure.
- Install and terminate cables, conduits, electrical fixtures, switches, sockets, distribution boards, control panels, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Perform cable pulling, glanding, termination, and connection works.
- Install lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems as required.
- Conduct testing and inspection of electrical installations and identify and rectify faults.
- Assist with installation and connection of electrical equipment, panels, generators, pumps, and other project-related equipment.
- Carry out electrical troubleshooting and corrective works.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth progress of construction works.
- Maintain proper use and care of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
- Follow all site safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Report electrical defects, unsafe conditions, material requirements, and work progress to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform any other electrical duties assigned by the supervisor or project management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction projects, resort development, commercial buildings, or large-scale projects will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, distribution systems, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and safe working practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural construction team.
- Physically fit and willing to live and work at a resort construction site/island location.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required by project activities.
