Assistant Internal Auditor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to support our Internal Audit function by executing audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, and assisting in the delivery of objective, risk-based assurance across the organization. The role involves audit planning support, fieldwork execution, documentation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders in line with Internal Audit standards and the IIA Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support audit planning and risk assessments through walkthroughs, interviews, and process documentation.
- Execute audit fieldwork, including control and substantive testing.
- Prepare high-quality audit working papers and maintain audit documentation.
- Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and non-compliance issues.
- Assist in drafting audit observations and reports.
- Communicate audit progress and findings with senior audit team members.
- Work collaboratively with auditees and internal teams while maintaining confidentiality.
- Comply with Internal Audit policies, methodologies, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed A' Level
- Basic understanding of internal controls, risk, and governance.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable using audit tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis.
- Digitally and AI-aware, with the ability to use technology responsibly to improve efficiency.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work effectively under supervision.
