Job Title: Waiter – City Garden Restaurant

Vacancy: 07 Position

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welcome and greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional service.
2. Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
3. Ensure tables are properly arranged, clean and ready for customers.
4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, tables, chairs, floors and service stations.
5. Have good knowledge of the restaurant's menu, food items and beverages to assist customers.
6. Handle customer enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.
7. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly and on time.
8. Assist with table setup, food presentation and clearing used plates, glasses and utensils.
9. Ensure all cutlery, plates, glasses and serving equipment are clean and properly maintained.
10. Handle bills, payments and cashiering duties when required.
11. Follow company grooming standards, food safety and health and safety policies.
12. Monitor customer satisfaction and report any concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
13. Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties.
14. Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily restaurant operations.
15. Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a waiter or in customer service is an advantage.
2. Good communication and customer service skills.
3. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
4. Well-groomed, polite, friendly and customer-focused.
5. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
6. Hardworking, punctual, responsible and a good team player.
