Job Overview:
- LEO Group is looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of their marine fleet and port activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily marine and vessel operations, including vessel movements, berthing, sailing, towing, barging, and cargo operations.
- Coordinate with Port Authorities, Coast Guard, Customs, Immigration, agents, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and applicable maritime regulations.
- Monitor vessel safety, surveys, maintenance, statutory certificates, and operational readiness.
- Plan and supervise cargo, heavy-lift, project cargo, and cargo securing operations.
- Coordinate crew changes, certifications, competency, and training requirements.
- Investigate marine incidents and near misses and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor vessel utilization, operational costs, fuel efficiency, and downtime.
- Prepare fleet, vessel movement, incident, maintenance, and management reports.
- Act as the operational focal point for clients and support emergency response activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Science, Marine Transportation, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of maritime industry experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory, Port Captain, or Superintendent role.
- Experience in tug and barge operations, offshore support vessels, port operations, cargo/heavy-lift operations, or marine logistics.
- Master Mariner Certificate of Competency is highly desirable.
- Relevant STCW and maritime safety certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and marine/fleet management systems.
