Senior Research Officer (Local)

Job Overview:
- We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person to join Riyan Private Limited as a Senior Research Officer. This position is based in Male’, Maldives with 1 vacancy. Salary details are variable allowance based on level of effort.

Key Responsibilities:
- Explore business opportunities in socioeconomic research
- Assist in preparing proposals for research projects, including methodologies and workplans
- Direct and undertake pilot studies and field work
- Design survey tools and samples
- Collect, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- Prepare reports based on collected data
- Translate questionnaires and reports from Dhivehi to English and Vice Versa
- Project Management for research projects including budget control and staff management

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social research, social science, development studies, economics or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in conducting research and assessment in the Maldives
- Experience in data analysis and report writing
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS
- Bilingual in Dhivehi and English, experience in translation is an advantage
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills in both languages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
