Job Description
Crowe Maldives LLP is hiring three (3) Senior Associates, Audit to join our growing team and lead audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. The role involves planning and executing audit assignments in accordance with firm methodology, supervising and reviewing the work of associates, and managing engagements through to the completion of audit reports. Senior Associates will work closely with managers and partners to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of audit engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing information requests and coordinating the audit through to completion.
• Plan audit engagements, including risk assessment, materiality and audit approach, and prepare and present the planning strategy to the managers.
• Set up the working papers required for each engagement and develop new working papers tailored to the audit.
• Lead fieldwork, review and sign off on associates’ working papers, and ensure engagements are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Prepare audit memoranda on significant matters and resolve escalated queries from the engagement team.
• Draft audit reports in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
• Prepare exit meeting presentations and management letters, escalating significant matters to the Audit Manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or ACCA Applied Skills level completed.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the accounting or audit field.
Desired Skills
• Sound working knowledge of IFRS/IFRS for SMEs and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Proven experience leading audit fieldwork or holding a key role in accounting, including supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound professional judgment and skepticism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage client relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements to deadline.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to audit quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Hours: 08:00 - 15:30 (Sunday to Thursday)
