RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT (MALDIVIAN)

Job Overview:
- OEVAALI ART SHOP is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant in the Maldives. They seek a passionate individual who can provide a friendly customer experience. Salary: Not stated.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Assist with sales while maintaining customer service standards at Oevaali Art Shop Retail
- Assist customers with product recommendations and basic gift curating
- Encourage loyalty program sign-ups by clearly communicating its benefits, while ensuring accurate issuance and redemption of loyalty points in accordance with company procedures

eCommerce
- Prepare and process daily online orders
- Coordinate with couriers for timely dispatch and delivery
- Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries across all social media platforms

Inventory & Retail Operations
- Maintain proper inventory management and product availability
- Prepare daily restock lists and coordinate with the inventory department
- Assist with monthly stock counts
- Ensure operational and packaging supplies are adequately maintained
- Ensure proper use of Retail Sheets for interdepartmental coordination
- Assist with backend operational tasks including packing and quality checks
- Ensure all tasks related to events, promotions, and product launches are completed efficiently
- Ensure proper team coordination for daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks
- Ensure all opening and closing operational procedures are completed before and after store hours

Visual Merchandising & Store Upkeep
- Carry out daily cleaning and upkeep to maintain a presentable store environment at all times
- Maintain daily display standards and conduct display resets
- Ensure the store remains organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Support overall customer experience standards within the retail environment

Qualifications & Experience:
- A-Level diploma or higher qualification.
- Prior working experience as a Retail Assistant is required, and on the job training will be provided
- Passion for great customer service and good social / people skills
- Confidence in written and spoken communication, for both Dhivehi and English speaking customers
- Problem solving mindset
- Energetic, outgoing, pleasant and friendly personality
- Attention to detail, and a self-starter
- Motivated, dedicated and positive attitude
- Punctual, reliable and a team player
