Job Description
Job Overview:
- Society for Health Education (SHE) is seeking a Programme Officer for Communication to enhance its visibility, public engagement, and resource mobilisation efforts.
- The role involves managing media relations, developing content, and overseeing digital outreach, primarily related to Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and Health Promotion.
- Salary: MRF 8,680.00 – 11,120.00, depending on qualification and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials.
- Prepare key messaging for SHE leadership.
- Monitor and manage SHE’s public image and crisis communication.
- Lead content development for online platforms and reports.
- Manage SHE’s social media platforms.
- Oversee the production of multimedia content.
- Support fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.
- Train SHE staff on effective communication and media engagement.
- Create advocacy materials and compelling campaigns.
- Plan and execute public fundraising campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic communication or related fields.
- Experience in the non-profit or health sector preferred.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong copywriting, proofreading, and content editing skills.
- Ability to create and manage multimedia content.
- Fluency in English and Dhivehi.
- Proactive and innovative mindset.
- Experience in fundraising communications and donor relations.
Salary & Benefits:
- Total Salary Range: MRF 8,680.00 – 11,120.00 (will be determined based on qualification and experience).
