Job Overview:
- Society for Health Education (SHE) is seeking a Programme Officer for Communication to enhance the organization’s visibility and public engagement.
- The role involves developing communication strategies and managing media relations in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental Health, and other health programs.
- Total Salary Range: MRF 8,680.00 – 11,120.00 based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies promoting SHE’s mission and programs.
- Prepare key messaging for SHE leadership including reports and speeches.
- Manage SHE’s social media platforms to maximize audience engagement.
- Oversee content creation for newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
- Monitor and manage public image and crisis communication.
- Train SHE staff on effective communication and media engagement.
- Create advocacy materials and support fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with program teams to showcase SHE’s impact.
- Engage with members and volunteers through targeted communication strategies.
- Undertake other tasks assigned by the Director.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic communication or public relations.
- Fluency in English and Dhivehi, both spoken and written.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for various communication materials.
- Experience in fundraising communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Highly proactive with the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.

- Salary is MRF 8,680.00 – 11,120.00 based on qualifications and experience.
