Premier Banking Head

We are hiring for the position of PREMIER BANKING HEAD at Maldives Premier Bank (MPB) in Male', Maldives. This full-time role is open to both Maldivian and International candidates.

Position Overview:
The Premier Banking Head is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and performance of the Premier Banking business, serving high-net-worth and priority clients. The role carries accountability for revenue generation, relationship management, and service excellence for affluent clients, while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory, risk, and conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the growth and profitability of the Premier Banking portfolio, including deposits, lending, and fee income
• Manage and deepen relationships with high-net-worth and priority clients
• Act as the primary escalation point for Premier Banking client issues and service requirements
• Drive responsible, suitability-based sales and advisory practices
• Lead, coach, and monitor performance of Premier Banking staff
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, and conduct risk standards applicable to HNI clients
• Act as first line of defense for risks within the Premier Banking segment
Prepare and submit regular performance, pipeline, and risk reports to Branch Management

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional banking or wealth management certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of banking experience.
• Proven experience in sales and relationship-management experience within a bank or licensed financial institution.
• Demonstrated experience managing affluent or high-net-worth individual (HNI) clients is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in Premier, Priority, Private, or Wealth Banking is highly desirable.
• Experience in a leadership or senior advisory role within a banking environment.
