OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the safe, efficient and commercially successful operation of Souvenir Marine’s speedboat fleet. The role is responsible for fleet utilization, charter and rental activities, crew management, customer satisfaction, operational performance, safety and continuous improvement.
The Operations Manager will also contribute to business development, marketing and industry communications to strengthen Souvenir Marine’s market presence and identify new revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily speedboat fleet operations, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient vessel utilization.
• Drive business development and revenue growth through charter, hire and rental opportunities and key customer relationships.
• Manage fleet performance, including availability, maintenance, repairs, reliability and lifecycle planning.
• Oversee crew management, including scheduling, competency, training, performance and discipline.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and risk management, including incident/near-miss investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage operational budgets, expenditure and KPIs covering revenue, utilization, downtime, maintenance and customer service.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and service quality and implement improvements to operational performance.
• Report performance to the Managing Director and lead continuous improvement, while supporting marketing and industry communications.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marine Operations, Maritime Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management or a related field; marine qualification is desirable.
• Relevant experience in marine, vessel, fleet, transport or related operations, preferably with multi-vessel responsibility.
• Proven experience in charter/rental operations, business development, commercial negotiations and managing operational budgets.
• Strong knowledge of marine safety, crew management and fleet operations, with the leadership and decision-making ability to manage a commercially focused operation safely.
