Maintenance Supervisor

Run the Maintenance Team day to day so every site’s buildings, fixtures, cold storage and equipment are safe and working, with repairs done quickly and within budget.

What you will do

• Plan, assign and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, air-conditioning, plumbing and facility systems across all sites.
• Assign daily tasks to the maintenance team and post the task allocation in the maintenance group before 8:30 am every day.
• Visit sites at least twice a day to check assigned work, evaluate progress and keep operations running.
• Post a daily update and site visit report, with photos, in the maintenance group before 6:00 pm, covering work done, equipment condition and pending issues.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, especially cold storage and power failures, to keep downtime to a minimum.

What you need

• Minimum 4 years experience in building construction and maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Experience in building construction and maintenance work, including civil, carpentry, painting, welding and tiling.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with good organisation and time management.
• Able to read basic drawings, judge contractor quotes and keep clear job, stock and petty cash records.
