Internal Auditor

Job Overview:
- We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person to join our company as an Internal Auditor.
- The position is based in Male’, Maldives, with 1 vacancy available.
- Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review budget vs actuals and investigate variances.
- Verify accuracy of financial projections and cash flow reports and profitability analysis.
- Monitor financial performance across projects and business units.
- Conduct internal audits covering financial transactions, procurement activities, and payment approvals.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify and assess major financial and operational risks.
- Prepare and execute an annual internal audit plan approved by Directors/Managing Director.
- Report on significant issues identified directly to the Directors.
- Maintain audit working papers and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor.
- Previous experience in the Maldives will be an added advantage.
