Electrical Engineering Consultant

Job Overview:
- Leo Trading Pvt Ltd is developing a 20 MW medium-speed power plant and is looking for a qualified, experienced Electrical Engineering Consultant to join our project team. The role involves leading the plant's electrical design and coordination. Work location: Not stated. Openings: Not stated. Salary: Competitive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the electrical design basis, Single Line Diagrams and load schedules.
- Carry out cable sizing, voltage-drop, fault-level, transformer and busbar calculations.
- Develop the protection philosophy, relay settings and selectivity study.
- Design generator synchronisation, parallel operation and grid connection.
- Conduct short-circuit, load-flow, protection coordination and earthing design studies.
- Design earthing, bonding and lightning protection.
- Review OEM/vendor drawings and coordinate with all project disciplines.
- Design auxiliary AC/DC, UPS and battery systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering.
- Professional engineering registration or certification, where applicable.
- Experience in power generation, diesel power plants, utility or comparable industrial projects.
- Medium-voltage distribution, generator protection and synchronisation experience.
- Good knowledge of IEC and international electrical standards.
- Medium-speed diesel projects of similar capacity are an advantage.
