Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced NOC Electrical Engineer to oversee and maintain the critical power infrastructure of our 24/7 Network Operations Center. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the health of our main electrical panel, online UPS systems, and backup diesel generator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, inspect, and maintain the main 3-phase panel board.
- Conduct continuous monitoring, battery bank impedance testing, maintenance bypass switching, and routine servicing of the 3-phase UPS system.
- Oversee the backup diesel generator set, including fuel/coolant levels, regular load testing, and seamless operation of the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).
- Calculate load capacities, select appropriate breakers and cable gauges, and lay/wire new power connections into server racks and infrastructure.
- Monitor earthing/grounding systems, track total harmonic distortion (THD).

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in critical power management within Datacenters, NOCs, Telecom hubs, or Industrial facilities.
- Proven experience with high-amperage 3-phase distribution systems and industrial panel wiring.
- Direct operational experience with medium/large online UPS systems and VRLA/Lithium battery banks.
- Strong expertise with Diesel Genset maintenance and ATS failover mechanics.
