Overview:
- Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) is seeking an experienced artistic collaborative to design, curate, and produce an interactive exhibition on Violence Against Women in Politics (VAWP) in the Maldives. The vendor will be working on transforming collected stories into various artistic mediums to raise awareness. Fees: USD 7,000 - USD 7,800.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform case stories into diverse artistic mediums.
- Curate and design the exhibition space.
- Manage installation, setup, and deinstallation of the exhibition.
- Provide digital documentation of the exhibition.
- Design exhibition materials for portability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in exhibition design and curation.
- Strong portfolio in multimedia installations.
- Experience with gender-based violence and human rights topics.
- Ability to collaborate with community partners.
- Familiarity with the Maldivian context.
- High fluency in English and Dhivehi.
- Strong project management skills.
Timeline and working arrangement
- Duration: Approximately two months (March – May 2026)
- Exhibition launch: Two-day public exhibition in May 2026
Fees:
- The vendor shall be paid a fixed total fee ranging between USD 7,000 and USD 7,800, inclusive of all applicable taxes, for the entire duration of the assignment. This fee shall constitute full and final payment and shall cover all costs, including but not limited to artist/collective fees, personnel costs, production expenses, materials, equipment, coordination, administration, and any other incidental or related expenses required to deliver the assignment in full.
