Job Overview:
- We are seeking a Captain for an Oil Barge position. The candidate should have experience operating oil barges, a marine license, and specific certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Oil Barge, Barge and LCT Vessel
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations (Maldives Transport)
- Maintain engines and spare parts
- Demonstrate proactive and dynamic work attitude
- Work long and odd hours
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience operating Oil Barge, Barge and LCT Vessel
- Niyami Certification (Class 5)
- Marine license categories C and D
- Niyami Certificate 2 (mandatory)
- First aid certification (advantage)
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Dhivehi
- Excellent communication skills
