As Audit Manager within Financial Assurance you will take an in charge role, working with audit teams on engagements across a variety of industries. You will be involved in working directly with clients, researching clients’ businesses, checking compliance with policies and procedures, testing internal controls and substantiating financial information.
Responsibilities:
• Plan effective auditing processes
• Audit financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Inspect internal systems and controls
• Assess risk management tactics
• Report systematic errors or fraud indicators
• Explain audit findings and recommend solutions
• Work closely with the team members on auditing, taxation, and accounting assignments
Qualification & Skills:
• Proven experience as an External Auditor
• Experience in data analysis and financial reporting
• Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations (e.g. ISAs)
• Knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. IFRS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sound judgement and decision-making ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Familiar with accounting software (Quickbooks, Tally, Microsoft AX etc.)
• Completed Accounting/Audit Degree or ACCA intermediate level
Salary & Benefits:
• Salary negotiable depending on the qualification
• Annual Bonus
• MRPS as per the Employment Act
