Job Overview:
- We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team at The Hawks Pvt Ltd. This role is for a highly skilled, self-reliant, and safety-driven FAA A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to manage maintenance activities for a US-registered ICON A5 amphibious aircraft based in the Maldives. Salary: Negotiable based on Experience & Qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and legally sign off on all scheduled maintenance, including mandatory inspections.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the Rotax 912 iS engine and electrical systems.
- Monitor and perform repairs on the carbon fiber airframe structure.
- Implement daily freshwater washdown and anti-corrosion treatment protocols.
- Maintain aircraft logbooks in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Manage inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate shipping.
Qualifications & Experience:
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) designation in good standing.
- Documented completion of Rotax 912 iS Line and Heavy Maintenance training (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with composite repairs.
- Familiarity with seaplanes or amphibious aircraft (advantage).
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
