AC Technician

Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining VRV/VRF and Split Air Conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, the ability to diagnose faults efficiently, and experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and inspections of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose, identify, and repair faults in VRV/VRF systems, including indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant circuits, electrical controls, sensors, and communication networks.
- Install, commission, and test Split AC units according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and system performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in air conditioning systems.
- Replace defective components such as compressors, fan motors, expansion valves, PCB boards, sensors, and contactors.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and HVAC drawings.
- Ensure all maintenance and installation work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and job completion documentation.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely technical support to customers.
- Recommend solutions and preventive measures to improve system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma, Certificate, or Technical Qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or a related field.
- Proven experience servicing and troubleshooting VRV/VRF systems.
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of Split AC units.
- Good understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC controls.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of refrigerants and safe handling procedures.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
