MES is seeking a dedicated and skilled AC Technician to join our team in Thimarafushi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all air-conditioning systems and related equipment.
Identify potential faults and carry out preventive actions before major breakdowns occur.
Replace defective components, including capacitors, contactors, thermostats, motors, sensors, relays, and other minor parts.
Assist with the installation of new air-conditioning systems and related equipment.
Monitor the operational condition and performance of all assigned AC equipment.
Report equipment requiring major repairs, replacement, or specialist intervention to management.
Maintain proper care and control of assigned tools and equipment.
Assist other maintenance personnel with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or general maintenance work as required.
Support emergency maintenance and breakdown responses outside normal working hours when necessary.
Requirements
Experience in air-conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to be based in Thimarafushi.
